SBC Keeping a Low Profile?
As the annual meeting ended yesterday, the media was already dissecting the significance of the meeting and its long term effect. Dylan T. Lovan wrote an article for the Associated Press from the prespective of the Convention having kept a low profile this year as compared to other meetings. There was no mention of the Greater Commission Resurgence in this article. It seems the secular media wants to focus more on the decline than the bold solution for it. What I find interesting is how secular writers go talk to Bill Leonard, a CBFer, to talk about the SBC? At least this writer did take the time to contact Malcolm Yarnell but most of his material comes from Leonard. Here is the wrapup for the meeting from the Baptist Press.
