To pass a resolution like this is to condone his policies. That’s what resolutions do — they say to the world that the organization is pleased with the person being acclaimed. Obama’s policies are in direct conflict with the resolution passed by the SBC in the 1960’s against communism, the several resolutions passed in the 1980’s against abortion. His own appointees have no financial accountability as shown by their inability to pay their taxes. ANd the racist agenda by his Supreme Court nominee should cause enough uproar even among liberal elites that there should be no favor shown for such an absurd idea as a resolution affirming Obama as the first black president.
