Wiley Drake is at it again!

With the Convention coming up, guess who is back in the news? Wiley Drake is back. The former Second Vice President of the SBC and noted lightning rod for controversy is now in the news again with his comments about the murder of Dr. Tiller. However, Drake did not stop there but also had comments about President Obama.
These comments are in direct opposition to what Richard Land had to say about Dr. Tiller’s murder. SBC President Johnny Hunt responded quickly to Drake’s statements. It does make one wonder what Drake will do if Dwight McKissic has his resolution concerning the historic significance of President Obama’s election come to a vote.
Wiley Drake is a joke. When Wiley Drake was elected as 2nd VP, it was a joke. I was there and the whole place was laughing at his nomination speech. Now the joke is on us. Lesson learned: Don’t elect an officer out of sympathy or in response to a funny speech.
