Willis and Hunt in the Race!

According to The Pathway, Avery Willis is going to be nominated for SBC President and according to the Christian Index, Johnny Hunt is going to be nominated also which increases the field to 4 or 5 (depending on if you want to count Willey Drake). More news is on the Baptist Press web site concerning Willis and Hunt.

I have some trouble thinking of a pastor who is so theologically illiterate and slanderous on issues he doesn’t understand being the representative of all the Convention, not to mention his CP giving seems to be rather minimal…of course. Rather strange to nominate to pastors from greater Atlanta too.
