I was reading the news today when I came across this article: Censoring Santa: Sydney says no, no, no to ho, ho, ho. With Lowe’s using the term “family tree” instead of Christmas tree (a position of which they have since recanted) and PetsMart calling everything “holiday”, how long will the Christian message will be completely removed from Christmas? We already have the banning of Christmas carols in many programs and one school district has gone so far as to restrict the use of Christmas colors at a “winter party.” In 2004, the city of Denver went so far as to remove Merry Christmas and Christmas carols. The Baptist Press in the Culture digest covered this story also. It is getting very strange when a Christmas card is banned.
It is time for us to speak out while we still can.

I like your blog very much, Quinn. Thank you for your post on Santa Claus. Perhaps you might be interested in my blog as well: http://whereschristmas.wordpress.com/
I just started it, and I’m new to blogging, so don’t expect it to be as polished as yours.
Mery Christmas!
