  1. I was at his funeral yesterday. While, I do not remember having met Phil, I left the funeral feeling like I had known him all my life. What a man of God! What an awesome father and husband. The church was packed, and so was the fellowship hall where they had Closed Circuit TV of the service. It was truly moving. Well done good and faithful servant, enter in to the joy of your Lord!

  2. God was accomplishing great things at S Main St Baptist Church through the ministry of Phil. Look forward to seeing what He will do there now. His ways are right, even when they make no sense to us.

  3. I am so sorry for the loss to you and your children. I lost my father when I was young and understand some of the loss. God Bless your home.
